Day 15 – Today I cleaned out my trunk. I’m getting to the “I should have trashed this long ago. Why am I still holding on to this category?”
In my quest to get rid of things. I’m playing a game this month http://www.theminimalists.com/game. I don’t know how long I’ll last, I started 1 December. Get rid of 1 thing on the 1st, get rid of two things on the 2nd, get rid of three things on the 3rd, etc.
It’s a very interesting thing, to have to go through what you have, and have a specific goal you need to be rid of by the end of the day.
I’m curious if you’re actually trying to get down to minimalistic standards, of maybe just trying to get your stuff a little more in order?
I’m also curious, is it more fun/invigorating, to have a goal, or is it more of a pressure?
I’ve already gotten rid of all the big stuff. The little things seem to be harder to get rid of because to be honest everything is neatly packed away. A place for everything and everything in it’s place. It’s just that even though everything is neatly put away I do not need everything I own. There are things I don’t use therefore I’d rather just rid of them. This is a way to do it in a non stressful way.
